Church Daily PrayerThis prayer has been customized for Salt Lake. Please personalize for your particular area. This day, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I loose the spirit of the Fear of The Lord to dwell upon every person in Salt Lake City and along the Wasatch front. And I say that the favor of the Almighty God will be blessed upon me, upon my family, and upon my church family and it will happen today in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Lord Jesus, this day I cover myself, my wife, my children, my grandchildren; I cover our health, our finances, our homes, and our transportation (any other personal things). I cover them this day with a Covering of the Spirit, of the Blood, and of Prayer, and the Shield of Faith. Lord Jesus I cover everything that You have placed in my hands. I cover everything on all these properties and I cover every thing, every person that will come on these properties with the Covering of the Spirit, of the Blood, and of Prayer, and the Shield of Faith. I cover the Church, cover all the church people, everyone coming to and connected with the Church with a Covering of the Spirit, of the Blood, and of Prayer, and the Shield of Faith. I pray for the leaders of Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, the state of Utah, our nation and around the world. Lord Jesus this day I am asking You to give them Wisdom, Knowledge, and Understanding. Give them a heart of Peace and not a heart of War. Luke 11:21-22 When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: 22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils. I Lord Jesus, this day I bind the strongman of Salt Lake City, Salt lake County, and along the Wasatch Front by the Authority and Power of the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and I loose the goods and the souls of his house to come into the Kingdom of God by the Authority and Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word. 2 Corinthians 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds:) This day in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ I bind the stronghold of a poverty mentality and a welfare mentality and I in return will loose a spirit and attitude of Daily Prayer for Salt Lake and along the Wasatch Front progressiveness, a desire to earn their own way, a desire to take care of their own families. I loose that in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, and along the Wasatch Front in Jesus’ Name. I bind the stronghold of low and no self esteem and I loose the spirit and attitude now of confidence; I loose the spirit and attitude of boldness; I loose the spirit and attitude of progressiveness; I do it in the name and by the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ. I bind the stronghold of addiction (drugs, alcohol, gambling, immorality, etc.) I bind it in the Name of Jesus. I bind every stronghold of lust, perversion, pornography, dishonesty, greed, jealousy, and envy. I bind the strongholds of tradition and false doctrine and cast it down. I bind these things and by the authority of the Word of God and the power of Jesus’ Name. I throw them down in the Name of Jesus and I loose the opposite of that to rule and reign in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, and along the Wasatch Front in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You Jesus. This is done today in the Name of Jesus. Bible Quizzing NewsBible Quizzing is alive and well in the Rocky Mountain District! The first tournament of the year was held earlier this month in Billings, and over 80 people from Billings, Great Falls, Hardin, and Helena gathered to see teams of children and youth share their knowledge of the Word of God. The focus this year is on Doctrine, and there are some quizzers that have already memorized well over 100 verses. Tournaments will be held monthly throughout the district through June, with the next one in Hardin on March 3rd. To find out more about this exciting ministry, contact Rev. Derrick Pohl at

Save Our Children Kickoff!Saving children has never made any more “cents”! The fund-raising arm of the General Sunday School Division is “Save Our Children.” Its original goal and dream was to build a great church from children upward. Jesus taught us that new wine needed to be placed in new bottles. If the new wine were placed in old bottles, the bottles would burst and spill all the liquids. Now is a great time for you to be involved in helping raise money for Save Our Children. The General Sunday School Division is positioning to launch this program to assist churches in saving our children. We have a dream of reaching one million children in the next five years! That’s only 200,000 children per year, but this will help build an army of children who will be qualified and trained to step into leadership positions! We will do this through Junior Bible Quizzing, Sunday school literature and classes, children’s crusades, Junior Camps, B.R.E.A.D. (the Bible reading program) and many other training programs. Help us help you as we prepare for the future! Save Our Children has never been more Our 2012 District goal for Save Our Children is $12,000. It can be done with everyone pulling together. Let’s put our greatest amount of support to the greatest area of potential. Our future is reached through our wallets and purses. Will you help us reach our children? The harvest is ripe and the laborers are few, so let’s recruit children to save our world. Let’s go down in the record book as saying, “We gave our priority dollars to a priority cause: to Save Our Children.” The offering date this year is April 8, 2012 (Easter Sunday). God bless you for your sacrificial giving! Greg Kessler To see all the ministries that Save Our Children funds support, click here. |
